Punjab PMS Jobs Big Announcement 2025 | 119 Vacancies | Full Details, Eligibility & Syllabus
The Punjab Government has announced the biggest recruitment in the history of Punjab Management Service (PMS). This time a total of 119 vacancies have been released which is a golden opportunity for the youth.
These recruitments are being done by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) under advertisement number 47 and 48.
Available Posts and Vacancies
1. Punjab Management Service (PMS)
Scale: BS-17
Total Vacancies: 80
Open Merit: 61
Minority Quota: 16
Special Persons: 3
The selected candidates will be initially posted as Section Officer and Assistant Commissioner in the field.
2. Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO)
Scale: BS-17
Total Posts: 25
Open Merit: 24
Minority Quota: 1
Candidates will be given preference for ETO if they do not qualify for PMS.
3. Assistant Director (Local Fund Audit) – Finance Department
Scale: BS-17
Total Posts: 14
Open Merit: 12
Minority Quota: 1
Special Quota: 1
This will be the third preference if they do not qualify for PMS and ETO.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Important Date: 1st January 2026
Age Relaxation
Punjab or Federal Pure Government Employees who have completed 4 years of service → Age Limit 35 Years
Employees of Contract, Semi-Government or Autonomous Institutions are not eligible for this relaxation
⚠️ The advertisement has clarified that no relaxation can be taken by challenging the notification issued regarding age relaxation.
Qualification
Minimum 14 years of education
Second Division mandatory
All the following degree holders are eligible:
BS / Master’s (in any subject)
👉 No requirement for any specific subject or specialization
Gender and Domicile
Male, Female and Transgender are all eligible
Only candidates having Punjab domicile can apply
Posting
Posting possible in any district of Punjab
Candidates from nearby districts may be given preference
PMS Written Exam Syllabus
A total of 9 written papers will be conducted by PPSC:
Compulsory Subjects
English Essay
English (Precis & Composition)
Optional Subjects
Candidates will select subjects from the group of their choice (detailed list will be available on PPSC website)
