CTI Jobs 2024: Profile Update Issues and Their Easy Solutions
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Today, September 22, is the last date to update your profile for CTI Jobs. If candidates do not update their profiles completely today, they will not be able to apply for CTI jobs in their nearby colleges on September 23 and 24.
Unfortunately, many candidates face various issues while updating their profile. In this blog post, we are explaining all these issues with easy and practical solutions so that no candidate misses out on this important opportunity.
Issue No. 1: “Account Already Exists” Error
When candidates try to create a new account, they get this message:
"Account Already Exists"
What does this mean?
This means that an account has already been created with your CNIC or email address, most likely during a previous CTI recruitment.
Errors While Logging In
When candidates try to log in, two types of errors are encountered:
1) “Invalid Details”
If you are facing this issue:
Solution:
Click on “Forgot Password”
Enter your CNIC number
Click on “Send Email”
A password reset link will be sent to your registered email address
Log in by creating a new password
This is a confusing issue because:
While signing up, a message appears stating that the account exists
But on login, it says that the account does not exist
Solution:
Use your new email address
Create a new account with the new email
Complete the profile
Issue No. 2: OTP not received
While creating an account, the system sends an OTP to your:
CNIC
Mobile number
Email address
But most of the candidates do not receive the OTP
Possible causes and solutions:
1) Mobile network problem
If you are on WiFi but have placed your mobile phone in a place where there is no signal, then the OTP will not come
Solution:
Place your mobile in a place where the network signal is good
2) OTP is not appearing on email
OTP often goes to Spam Folder
Solution:
Check Spam / Junk folder
Clear Inbox
Try again
Remember: OTP can be verified from either mobile or email.
Problem No. 3: 200KB error while uploading images
The following images are required to complete the profile:
Often this message comes while uploading:
Easy solution to this problem:
Open Google
Search: Image Resize
Open any online tool
Upload the image
Click on “Resize” or “Compress”
Download a new image
Upload again
Important:
A typical image is 1MB or 2MB
Resizing once brings the image down to 500–600KB
You will have to resize the image again so that it is less than 200KB
Last tip
If the problem is not resolved at any stage:
Try again
Patiently check all folders (Inbox + Check Spam)
Reduce the image size again
