CTI Vacant Seats Update – Complete Guide to Apply in Nearby Colleges (Step by Step Guide)

The waiting hours are finally over!
The Higher Education Department Punjab has updated the vacant seats on the CTI portal. In this post, we will tell you the complete method to check the vacant CTI seats in nearby colleges and apply correctly.
⚠️ Important Note:
If you make even a minor mistake while applying, your application may be canceled, so read this guide carefully.
How to Login to CTI Portal
First of all, go to the official website of CTI
Enter your CNIC number and password
Click on the Sign In button
After logging in, you will see the Available Positions section which has now been updated
⚠️ Before applying, it is mandatory to check the profile
Dear Candidates!
Before going to Available Positions, make sure that:
Your profile is completely updated
Educational information is correct
Subject is selected correctly
Incomplete profile may lead to rejection of the application.
Important instructions for applying to Available Positions
Before applying, it is important to understand these two very important rules:
1️⃣ College limit
You can apply to a maximum of 5 colleges
Selection will be made in only one of these 5 colleges
2️⃣ District limit
You can apply to colleges in only 2 districts across Punjab
It is better to:
First select colleges in your district
Then select colleges in nearby districts
How to check vacant CTI seats?
After clicking on Available Positions, you will see three options:
🔹 1. Subject
Select the subject in which you have done your Masters / BS
Example: Computer Science, IT, Mathematics etc.
🔹 2. District
First select your residential district
Example: Multan
🔹 3. College
Leave this option blank
Just click on the Search button
What will appear after searching?
After clicking on Search:
All the colleges in the selected district will be displayed
Where there are vacant CTI seats for your subject
Example:
7 colleges
3, 4, 2 or 1 seats
📌 Important:
Where Gender is written as "Both" → Both men and women can apply
Where it is written as Male or Female → Only that gender can apply
How to choose a college?
While applying, keep these things in mind:
✔️ College with more seats
College near your home
College in your tehsil or district
How to apply for CTI
Click on the Apply button in front of the desired college
A message of Successful Application will appear
Click on OK
Now the status of this college will be Applied
🔁 If you want:
You can delete the application using the Delete button
You can apply to another college
How to check Merit Marks?
Click on the button in front of the Applied college:
👉 "View Merit Marks"
Here you will see the following numbers:
