Punjab Government Interest-Free Business Loan Scheme – Phase 2 (Complete Guide)
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has officially launched Phase 2 of the Business Loan Scheme through the Easy Business Finance Portal. Under this scheme, interest-free loans ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹50 lakh are being provided to the youth of Punjab, both men and women.
These loans are being given for starting new businesses or expanding existing businesses.
Key Features of the Loan
✔ Amount: Rs 1 lakh to Rs 50 lakh
✔ Profit / Interest: Absolutely Zero
Repayment Period: 5 Years
✔ No installment for the first 6 months
✔ Apply online — through Easy Business Finance Portal
Three Categories of the Scheme
Category – 1
Loan: Rs 1 lakh to Rs 10 lakh
Guarantee: Based on personal guarantee
Target: Small Business
Category – 2
Loan: Rs 10 lakh to Rs 10 crore
Guarantee: Bank guarantee / collateral required
Category – 3 (Export Business)
Loan: Up to Rs 50 million
For those starting or expanding export business
Eligibility Requirements
✔ Age: 25 to 55 years
Gender: Both male and female eligible
Residence: Permanent residents of Punjab only
Location of business: Punjab only
CNIC: Valid Computerized CNIC
✔ Filer Status: Must be a tax filer (registration required)
✔ NTA number required
✔ FDR number must be active

Step 1: Signup
Open Easy Business Finance Portal
Enter your name, CNIC, and mobile number registered on CNIC Do
Enter the OTP received on your mobile
Step 2: Complete the profile

Education
Business details
Amount required
Uploading documents
Step 3: Add references
Upload CNIC and mobile number of both the references
Step 4: Submit the application
Check your application
Submit the fee (if specified by the scheme)
Submit after completing the form
Step 5: Bank verification
The bank will contact you
Check your business and documents
After approval, the money will be transferred to your account
