## **How to Apply Online in ASF? — Complete Step-by-Step Guide**
Whether you use **Mobile** or **Laptop**, you can easily apply from home.

## **STEP 1: Open Browser and Search**
Open your browser and type in the search bar:
**"ASF Join" or "ASF में जाने आसफ"**
The link that will appear at the top of the search results will be:
> **joinasf.gov.pk (Join ASF)**
Click on it.

## **STEP 2: The official career portal of ASF will open**
Here you will see three things:
1. Advertisement (Vacancies Advertisement)
2. Requirements (Eligibility Criteria)
3. Important instructions (Guidelines PDF)
**Important Tip:**
Most people **do not read the PDF guidelines**, due to which their file gets rejected. It is told there that:
* In what format the photo should be uploaded
* How should the CNIC photo be
* What should be the file size
* Which documents should be prepared

## **STEP 3: Click on Online Apply**
Click on the "Online Apply" button.
Now the **Candidate Signup Form** will open.
If you already have an account, then **Sign In**.
If this is your first time, then **Create a new account**.

You will need to provide the following information:
* CNIC Number (without dashes)
* CNIC Expiry Date
* Your Email Address
* Create and Confirm Password
Finally, click on **Sign Up**.
After this, your **Dashboard** will open.

# **Why is it important to complete your profile?**
Many people click directly on **Apply** in a hurry, but until you **complete your profile**, you cannot apply.
Creating a profile is like completing your CV.
The ASF system tells you which vacancies you are eligible for based on your profile.

## **Your profile should have these things:**
### ✔ 1. Passport size photo
* Clear, front photo
* With blue or white background
* Studio photo is better
* But if you want to take it at home, then sit straight on a chair
* The photo should be **portrait, not landscape**
* File size: **Around 30 KB**
### ✔ 2. Front side of CNIC
This is where people make the most mistakes:
* People take a photo with their mobile in a hurry
* Then trying to reduce the size, the photo becomes **blurred**
* The blurry photo gets **rejected** immediately
**Solution:**
Install **CamScanner** app from Play Store
The scanned image will:
* Be clear
* Not blurry
* Within approximately 30 KB
